This nutrient rich (plankton laden) area is where Whale Sharks come to feed in the starting June 15 through August 31 . This "plankton bloom" provides the environment for Holbox to have the highest concentration of whale sharks in the world.
We take you in a 35 foot boat with two high horsepower engines directly from Cancun. No long travel time from Cancun to Holbox and then out to see the Whale Sharks!
